TGO reviews the Torres Jacket
Rated 5 out of 5 for warmth, water resistance and value for money TGO said "There is a place in our damp climate for a thick, warm synthetic jacket that can be pulled over a waterproof jacket with any worries of it getting wet. The Torres Jacket is one such jacket and the best that I've tried in years. It's a well-designed, functional jacket. The handwarmer pockets have insulation on both sides and are very roomy. The inside pocket is big too and ideal for drying damp gloves. It will take a map. The Torres Jacket always kept me warm whilst stationary."

Pájaro Jacket is Best Buy in Outdoor Photography, November 2009
Recommended as the 'Best Buy' in the Outdoor Photography’s 'five of the best tested waterproof jackets':
Paramo jackets are quite heavy and best for cool or cold weather - but in such conditions they're unbeatable. The membrane-free fabric, which is based on the principles of mammal fur, is supple and quiet, with very high breathability and weatherproof ratings. Venting options are extensive, including horizontal zips along the upper arms. The cut allows excellent freedom of movement and room to layer. Length is on the short side: the hem finishes at crotch height on both men's and women's. Pockets are well sized and placed for use with a rucksack. The hood, to is a winner; it is adjustable, quiet, has good peripheral vision and moves with you head. Waist and hem draw cords finish at the sides. Pájaro is designed with photographers, birdwatchers and country lovers in mind, and remains a firm favourite in their range.
Ratings:
- Fabric 100%
- Ease of use/hood: 100%
- Quality/value: 85%
- Pockets: 100%
Overall: 96.25% |

Fuera Peak receives OE 'Best Buy'
Recommended as the 'Best Buy' in the 'Men's Waterproof Jackets' category, the Páramo Fuera Peak Jacket gained the accolade:
"Made from Nikwax Windproof fabric the Fuera is water repellent, windproof, tough, lightweight and dries rapidly, making it ideal for summer use. The well designed features include a stowable helmet-compatible hood, scooped tail for extra protection (so good for mountain biking), two zipped torso pockets which are accessible when wearing a pack and also map friendly, and adjustable hem and cuffs. The fabric is also very tactile and ‘non-crackly’, and at well under a hundred quid you can’t go far wrong with the Fuera Peak."
- PERFORMANCE 4.5/5
- VALUE 5/5

Ladies' Aspira Smock
The Páramo fabric has an unmistakably soft feel to it, meaning its not a chore to pull on and you escape the crinkle and crunch of a more traditional waterproof. The outer is made of directional microfiber which means that regardless of the humidity or temperature the fabric works at moving moisture away from your skin to keep fresh.
It features a fixed (rollaway) hood with wired visor which will fit over a helmet, upper arm vents to provide upper body ventilation and temperature control, as well as further vents via a two-way chest with internal storm flap. The deep chest zip opens to the waist allowing access to inner layer. The drawcords and zips are designed to be operated by a single gloved hand.
Performance 4/5
Value 4/5
